SKA Expression of Interest(2024)

Request for Expression of Interest (EoI) regarding work for the Construction Phase of the Indian contribution to SKA-Low Signal Processing Sub-System (SPS) and allied electronic manufacturing and testing services for the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) Telescope

The Square Kilometer Array (SKA) Observatory is a next generation radio telescope being constructed by an international consortium that involves participants from both academia and industry of the member countries (www.skatelescope.org). The SKA will be a revolutionary facility, both in terms of expected science output as well as the engineering challenges in building it (both software and hardware aspects). The SKA-Low Signal Processing Subsystem (SPS) is one of the important and challenging subsystems of SKA. It is one of the areas which was identified for Indian participation, following interest expressed by India based on the available expertise and interest in the country.  
We invite Expressions of Interest (EoI) from Indian public and private sector organisations with relevant expertise to participate in this effort. Those who are short-listed based on the response to this request, will be invited to bid for tenders for the actual work.
